Best Informal Dining Restaurant, Far North Queensland 2009
At the 2009 Awards for Excellence Far North Queensland, held in Cairns on July 27th, Zinc received two awards:
- Finalist in the "Best Alfresco Dining Restaurant" award
- Winner of the "Best Informal Dining Restaurant" award
Our sister restaurant, Finz, also received two awards:
- Finalist in the "Best Seafood Restaurant" award

Winner - Best Hospitality Website in Australia 2007
Zinc Port Douglas was awarded with Best Hospitality Website in Australia at the recent 2007 Savour Australia™ Restaurant & Catering Australia (R&CA) Awards for Excellence, which were announced at a huge showcase dinner, with over 500 of Australia’s leading restaurateurs and caterers, at the Adelaide Convention Centre, on 29 October 2007.
